How live dealer games work
Live casino is essentially a video streaming setup. A real croupier sits in a studio run by Evolution, Ezugi or Pragmatic Play Live, and that footage comes directly to your phone or computer. You tap designated areas on screen to place bets, and the result is determined after the dealer deals cards or spins the wheel.
- Multiple camera angles in an HD video feed — every part of the table is clearly visible.
- You can talk directly to the dealer through the chat box — a slightly different experience.
- Each round has a set time to place bets — once that time passes, you cannot join that round.
- The full experience is available from mobile too; using the nn ok app keeps the connection smoother.
Live games require more bandwidth, so playing on a good internet connection is more comfortable.
The basic rules of each game in brief
Baccarat: The dealer gives two cards each to the Player and Banker sides. The side whose points are closest to 9 wins. If the total is 10 or more, the first digit is dropped (e.g. 15 = 5). It is easy to understand and each round ends quickly.
Roulette: The wheel has numbers 0 to 36 (or 38 including 00). You can bet on a single number, a colour (red/black), odd or even, or a group of numbers. Betting directly on a number pays 35:1 but the chance of winning is lower; betting on red/black pays 1:1 but the chance is higher.
Teen Patti: Played with three cards. A trio (three cards of the same rank) is the strongest hand. You can choose to bet without looking at your cards first (blind), which keeps the bet amount lower.
Andar Bahar: The dealer places one card face-up in the middle (the joker card). Cards are then dealt alternately to the Andar and Bahar sides. The side that first receives a card matching the joker's value wins. With only two choices, it is very easy for beginners.
Slots: A payout is awarded when matching symbols line up on the spinning reels. Most games have 3 to 5 reels. Bonus rounds, free spins or multiplier features increase the chance of larger payouts. Titles like Fortune Tiger by PG Soft or Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play are available in this section.
Beyond these, nn ok has a separate section called Jungle King, which holds a special collection of casino games.
Choose a game based on your budget and preference
Not all games are the same. Considering three factors — risk, pace and skill required — makes it easier to find the right game.
| Game | Minimum Bet | Pace | Skill Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baccarat | Low | Fast | Low |
| Roulette | Low | Moderate | Low |
| Teen Patti | Moderate | Moderate | Moderate |
| Andar Bahar | Low | Fast | Low |
| Slots | Low | Fast | Low |
For those starting on a small budget, baccarat or Andar Bahar are good starting points. If you enjoy working with numbers and strategy, go with roulette. For the fun of extended bonus rounds, try slots.
Useful tips for beginners
Learning casino games is not difficult, but keeping a few things in mind from the start makes the experience better.
Start with demo mode
Many slots offer a chance to try without placing real bets. Play in demo mode first to understand how the game works.
Focus on one game
Start by learning the rules of one game well. Jumping into many games at once can cause confusion.
Set your budget beforehand
Decide the maximum amount you are willing to spend before starting a session, and stick to that limit.
Check the RTP
When choosing a slot, look at the RTP. A higher RTP means a greater chance of returns over the long run — for example, Mahjong Ways 2 has a maximum RTP of 96.95%.
